Salisbury racecourse is set in the
middle of picturesque Wiltshire countryside, within view of
stunning Salisbury Cathedral, the Racecourse hosts 17 thoroughbred
flat race meetings this summer.
They have also become an ideal venue for
business conferences and private banqueting, suitable at any
time of the year.
Enclosures at the Salisbury racecourse
Members' enclosure is their premier enclosure
which can be used by the general public.
The facilities available and the areas that
can be accessed varies according to each enclosure.
Each enclosure will have guaranteed race
viewing; betting facilities with both the Tote and bookmakers;
nearby car parking; racecard selling points; bars and catering
outlets, everything you need for a great social occasion.
Children under 16 and are accompanied by
an adult get in FREE in any enclosure at all 17 race meetings
and there are entertainments and/or creche facilities provided
at several of their fixtures which are more family orientated.
Members Enclosure
The general public can access this enclosure which has
the largest choice of facilities available and is closest
to the winning line for viewing. There are two viewing Stands
in Members' one of which has a seated
area with 288 seats.
Visitors to the can view the horses in the
Parade Ring before each race and the Winners' Enclosure afterwards
in the Members' Enclosure. When children's entertainments
are provided they can also visit both other enclosures at
the racecourse, particularly the Course enclosure.
The Bars available for use are the Bibury
Suite Bar, with it's new balcony, Wessex Bar, new Members'
Bar and the Paddock Bar.
The Wessex Bar and Paddock Bar both have
an enclosed area for drinks to be taken outside.
Tattersalls Enclosure
Visitors to the Tattersalls Enclosure can view the horses
in the Parade Ring before each race and the Winners' Enclosure
afterwards. They can also visit the Course enclosure (particularly
to make use of any children's entertainments) but can only
visit the Members' Enclosure if they are suitably dressed.

There are bars available for use are the
Tattersalls Bar, which is located under the Tattersalls Stand,
the Paddock Bar, and, next to the betting ring on busier days,
the beer tent.
Food is available in both Bars, and
there are always mobile catering units near the betting ring.
Course Enclosure
You will be able to get a decent view of the racing and
experience the atmosphere from the Course Enclosure, however,
they are not able to view the horses in the Parade Ring or
Winners' Enclosure. They can only visit the Tattersalls and
Members' Enclosures if they are suitably dressed. and pay
the upgrade.
The facilities available are more limited
than the other two enclosures, however, the Sarum Bar which
is located underneath the viewing Stand, allows purchase of
alcohol and soft drinks. Food is available from mobile catering
units within this enclosure.
Hospitality facilites at Salisbury Racecourse
You can book a table in the Members'
Restaurant or Conservatory Restaurant for a sit-down meals.
Members' Restaurant
This restaurant offers a superb carvery and cold table,
and is located at the back of the Bibury Suite Stand. Its
capacity is 130 people and due to its popularity, advanced
booking is very much recommended. Table bookings of up to
12 will be accepted.
Conservatory Restaurant
The Conservatory provides a served meal with delightful
views of the parade ring. With a maximum capacity of 32 people,
demand is high so advanced booking is recommended. Individual
bookings of up to 6 people are accepted.
The Bilbury Suite
The Bibury Suite at Salisbury Racecourse
, being only four miles from the city centre provides an ideal
venue for conferences, seminars, meetings and exhibitions.

Moonraker Room
The room has theatre-style
capacity for 200 delegates, or 100 in boardroom style. The
room has natural daylight, with blackout facilities to allow
for the use of overhead projectors and videos.
Bibury Room
This room has a capacity for 140 delegates theatre style,
or 70 boadroom style. The room has natural daylight and blackout
facilities to also allow for the use of overhead projectors
and videos.
