175 acres, your event will have a stunning and unique backdrop
thus ensuring a memorable day. There are plenty of options
available to you for a variety of events at Huntingdon Racecourse
are unrivalled. Subject to availability, the choice of location
and vantagepoint for the raceday is yours.
Getting to the Huntingdon Racecourse
Huntingdon Racecourse can be found half
a mile off the A1, on the A14, the A1/M1 link road that joins
the M11 at Cambridge. This allows easy access from the West
Midlands and the East Coast, as well as for visitors from
both the North and South. Huntingdon Railway Station is on
the main line from London Kings Cross and is approximately
one and a half miles from the Racecourse.
You will find ample car and coach parking
and is well sign-posted from all directions. Helicopters are
asked to contact the Racecourse Office before arrival.
There is a Shuttle service which is FREE
that operates on racedays between the Racecourse and Huntingdon
Train Station. This service runs from the station-racecourse
for two hours prior to the start of racing and racecourse-station
from half an hour either side of the last race. Please not
that times may vary for evening meetings.
Facilities at the Racecourse
Both the Members and Paddock enclosures
offer a choice of bars, restaurants and fast food points.
From a self-service restaurant, through to the Champagne and
Seafood Bar, all tastes are catered for and
all the bars offer draft and bottled beer and a full range
of spirits, wines and soft drinks. There is easy access to
the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure.
The Members Enclosure offers access to the
Members Bars, Restaurant and viewing areas including members
lawn; the Paddock Enclosure includes two bars, including a
first floor viewing bar, fast food facilities and a self-service
restaurant. Both tickets give access to the Grandstands, Parade
Ring and Winners Enclosure. A Member badge will gain you admission
to the Paddock Enclosure, but a Paddock badge does not gain
admission to the Members.
The Picnic Car Park is situated down
the home straight, it includes betting facilities, a small
bar, cold food service counter, toilets and a range of inflatable
rides on selected days. Badges for this enclosure do not gain
you admission to the Grandstands, Parade Ring or Winners Enclosure.
however it is possible for you to up-grade to the Paddock
and Members Enclosures.
When are trying to decide on a venue for
a conference, meeting, exhibition, dinner dance, team-building
day or wedding reception, Huntingdon Racecourse may not seem
the obvious choice. However, when we are not racing at Huntingdon
Racecourse, all of their facilities are the perfect place
to host a wide variety of events.
