Haydock Park, the premier Racecourse in the North West
Haydock Park racecourse is ideally situated
on 127 acres of parkland and offers 31 days racing of the
highest calibre all the year round, with the Group 1 Stanley
Leisure Sprint in September and in February, the Red Square
Vodka Gold Cup.
Haydock Park racecourse is one of the finest
racecourses in the country and the premier year-round racecourse
in the north and found,, just minutes from junction 23 of
the M6, with easy access from the A580 linking Manchester
and Liverpool and on the Motorway network from the M6, M56,
M61 and M58.
Race course Facilities
You will find facilities to suit every requirement
from the very best in private hospitality suites and restaurants
to their silver ring you need look no further. The boxes and
luncheon rooms in the Tommy Whittle Stand are the ideal facility
for entertaining small parties. the Park Suite can accommodate
larger parties of up to 400.
If you wish to dine
in a restaurant you have the choice of the Lancaster Suite
on the ground floor of the Centenary Stand in the County Enclosure,
Harry's Bistro in the Premier Enclosure overlooking the race
course from the second floor, the Centenary Stand and the
Park Suite from the second floor of the Makerfield Stand and
the Jubilee Bistro on the ground floor of the Tommy Whittle
Stand.
The dress requirements are smart casual,
no jeans, tracksuits or training shoes.
Tattersalls Enclosure
This enclosure offers an excellent view of racing and
access to the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure. It also includes
access to three raised viewing areas of which one is seated,
in addition to several rooms with a
wide range of bars and refreshment outlets. Directly in front
of the stands, betting is conducted with the Tote or the on-course
bookmakers.
Newton Enclosure
The Newton Enclosure, known also as the Haydock Parks
Silver Ring, includes an undercover raised viewing area and
a cafeteria and bar. This enclosure also has a children's
play area and, weather permitting, abouncy castle on Saturdays.
Betting takes place with the Tote and on-course bookmakers.
This enclosure does not provide access to the Winners Enclosure
or Parade Ring.

Rail
The nearest station to Haydock Park Racecourse is Newton-le-Willows
on the Manchester (Piccadilly) to Liverpool (Lime Street)
line. On the main London/Glasgow line the nearest stations
are Warrington and Wigan - both approximately 8 miles from

Public Transport
Visitors can travel to the
racecourse by bus using the following services; the 620 (Ashton
to Haydock), the 320 (St. Helens to Wigan).Ring 0870 608 2608
for journey times.
Haydock Park Xpress
The Haydock Park Xpress
is a direct bus link from St. Helens Central and Newton-le-Willows
Merseyrail stations to Haydock Park Racecourse. This service
will cost a nominal fee for a single journey and operate from
two hours before the first race to one hour after the last
race on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year.
Road
Haydock Park is located just one mile from Junction 23
of the M6. Racegoers with reserved car park passes and coach
parties should enter the course from the A49. The main car
park can be accessed from the A580 East.
